Training & Support
Support starts the day you are awarded your franchise to operate as a Pizza Factory. We do not award franchises just to increase our number of store fronts – we want successful, happy franchisees that enjoy and are passionate about what they do! Our award for high franchisee satisfaction was earned by our continuing education for both the corporate staff and franchisee and our sincere desire to help you be an awesome Pizza Factory franchisee.
Training is approximately (225- 237) hours starting with 4 days in a training kitchen where you are one on one with our Food and Beverage Supervisor, Bryan Ross. Once completed, you move on to a training store for approximately 3 weeks and additional classroom time at our corporate office.
Ongoing support is provided by our team via our franchisee support team and our field support representatives. Whether via marketing support, ongoing research and development, brand and trademark management, technical support, strategic planning, and many more areas - our team is always working to support your Pizza Factory. Your field support will visit your location on a regular basis to assist you on-site with questions, concerns, and to ensure you’re making the most out of the many resources available to help you grow.
Pizza Factory was founded in 1978 by Danny and Carol Wheeler in Oakhurst, California. When the Wheelers opened the first restaurant near Yosemite National Park, it was called Danny's Red Devil Pizza. A name change and a few years later, the first franchise was opened with the help of Ron and Joyce Willey. Current president/CEO Mary Jane Riva purchased the Pizza Factory franchise in 2012, and has since built a successful 100-plus-unit franchise operation. With a robust corporate team driving development efforts, Pizza Factory is positioned for exponential growth nationwide.
