History

When Co-Founder, Austin Evans, first opened a supplement store in 2015, he put people first & focused on educating customers about what they should be eating as a key step to overall health. He only recommended supplements that were necessary, rather than pushing customers toward higher-priced products they didn’t really need. Frequently, he heard customers talk about food being their biggest obstacle in achieving their health goals. Austin was meal prepping for himself & knew there was a great opportunity to help others with healthy meals. Then he met current Co-Founder, JR Roberson, a fellow gym member who was running a side-hustle meal prep business. Together, they started a buildout of a commercial kitchen in the back of the original supplement store, and Lean Kitchen launched with 1,000 preorders its first week in business. The model changed a few times & became what is now THE Lean Kitchen Company. We know how to run a kitchen very efficiently and offer absolutely delicious, healthy meals in a grab n’ go style store. We began franchising in January 2018 & are the fastest growing meal prep franchise in the US! Maybe even cooler than that though, we are constantly hearing customer’s success stories: weight loss transformations, building muscle, the ability to come off of medications they thought they would be on for life… Impacting somebody’s life in this way is a feeling that money can’t buy.   • Opening Support: We are present for your opening & visit your location again within 90 days of opening.
