Diesel Barbershops Franchise
Diesel Barbershops are the 21st-century version of the corner barbershop. We are passionate about providing clients a place where they can relax, be themselves, and enjoy a drink while receiving top-of-the-line men's hair grooming service. In addition, at every Diesel location, clients can watch their favorite sports on TV or relive their childhood on one of our classic arcade games.
About Diesel Barbershops
Diesel customers want a place where they can relax and maybe have a beer while getting a haircut, shave, or any of Diesel's hair grooming services, free from the drama that sometimes comes when going to beauty salons or quick-service haircare chains. Our customers look for the classic barbershop feel—a masculine atmosphere where they are free to talk to their barber or other customers about sports and their other interests. In fact, customers sometimes hang out after their haircut to finish their beer or to try to set a high score on Donkey Kong.

Why Choose Diesel Barbershops?
The global haircare market is projected to grow from $77.15 billion in 2021 to $112.97 billion in 2028. The haircare industry is healthy, vibrant, stable, predictable, and constantly growing, mainly because the industry is recession-resistant. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 24% of men have dedicated more time to their grooming routine, according to the 2021 Mindbody Wellness Index. The barbershop segment is recession-resistant and Amazon-proof. As a service-related business, we are more secure than typical retailers. While automation is affecting many other businesses, barbershops are always going to rely on in-person interactions. Barbershops are the fastest-growing segment of the haircare industry. A barbershop is a single-shop investment under $400,000, including working capital. The first-year net profit average is $74,000+. The mature shop profit average is $125,000+. Requires few employees (only six to eight to start, then ten to 12+ when mature) Single and multi-shop opportunities are available.

Diesel Barbershop was inspired by founder Shayne Brown's hair grooming experience growing up. His mother worked in a hair salon where he always got good haircuts and straightforward service in a neat environment. Upon leaving his hometown, Shayne searched for a similar hair grooming experience and instead got terrible haircuts, poor service from indifferent staff, and unhygienic settings. After working as a financial advisor and real estate developer, Shayne started conceptualizing Diesel, the product of his more than 20-year quest to find the perfect hair grooming service concept. His haircut journey included feathered hair, mullets, goatees, faux hawks, and everything in between. In 2011, the first Diesel Barbershop opened in San Antonio, TX. It is part barbershop, part old-school record store, and part arcade—the modern version of the vintage corner barbershop, which has everything customers want for a great hair grooming experience. In short, Diesel is a barbershop that offers high-quality haircuts, shaves, beard trims, waxing services, and shoulder massages all done while having a refreshing beverage.
