Andy, John and Carol's son, and his wife worked for years at this original location, innovating and growing the business. In August 2003, Andy's Frozen Custard Franchising, LLC incorporated. In January 2004, the corporation began offering Andy's Frozen Custard Store franchises.

Andy's Frozen Custard Franchising, LLC has two affiliates. Andy's Frozen Custard, Inc. (AFCI) is the legal entity that has operated at least one Andy's Frozen Custard location since 1986. AFCI provides franchisees with specific products and supplies necessary for operating Andy's Frozen Custard franchises. The other affiliate is Andy's Frozen Custard Stores, LLC (AFCS). Formerly known as Andy's Frozen Custard Chicago, LLC, AFCS has operated various Andy's Frozen Custard locations since 2010.

Training And Support

The franchisee and a manager will receive approximately four weeks of mandatory training prior to the opening of the first store in the development area. Training may occur at the franchisor's facility in Springfield, Missouri and/or at a designated operating Andy's Frozen Custard location.
