The SJD Group/SJD Business Brokers is a Merger & Acquisition/Business Brokerage firm that represents sellers of businesses of all sizes ranging from $100,000 in sales to $150 million, as well as working as a finder for companies looking for acquisitions. SJD anticipates providing services that are more extensive than simply acting as a finder of potential purchasers of the business.
This firm (SJD) is run by former Wall Street broker, Sam Alberico, and is involved in all phases of business brokerage including business sales, mergers and acquisitions, consulting , buyer searches, business valuations, etc. In addition, we work with a highly experienced individual who helps make companies "sales ready", in addition to a monthly monitoring of revenues, profitablility and auditing. We are very selective in our engagements, accepting only those where we can bring value to the table. We are a "take action" firm receiving our fees relative to the results we produce. We do not use our clients as training grounds for new intermediaries as we are a one-person firm with connections to large groups of private equity groups (PEG's) through 2 intermediary firms we deem as the very best. We are most proud of adhering to complete CONFIDENTIALITY , and some of our clients work with us because of our obsessive committment to confidentiality. We belong to no business broker/M&A organizations as these associations breed the business being "shopped" and kill confidentiality, proven by our firm working with only 2 intermediary companies. Our buyer representation is through PEG's as well as strategic buyers (individual companies) who are pursuing acquisition opportunities. All due diligence is coordinated and done by our buyers, their support staff and advisors. For the business owner, we help you price and market your business for sale. For those potential buyers, we will help you find a company fitting your financial resources and skills. All information is kept personal and confidential, and there is no fee or obligation to sit down and talk to us. We serve all of Northeast Ohio area and its surrounding communities, but have relationships which are not only across the U.S. but worlwide as well. On our retail and small size operations, we work with Sellers and Buyers in a capacity where we bring the parties together and help facilitate the transaction as these type deals need a bit more input and advice than the larger mid market deals.
